The Private Jet Fallacy
** You need to work really hard, so you can become rich and travel the world in your jet. **
The fallacy to me is delaying a trip now, in order to take the trip in an imagined future with a private jet or charter service.
One annoying commercial plane travel trip = lets say +8 hours more than a private jet trip.
Would you rather spend 5 years (10,000+ working hours) working hard to afford a private jet or just do the trip now and spend 8 more hours in transit?
This isn't about utility, this is about status.
